Ez Set Door Closer Instructions

Sometimes we hear customers say that the door is hard to open or that they want us to adjust the tension on the door closer.

Chisel 1 8 3mm deep along the outline to allow the faceplate to be aligned with the door edge. Some hydraulic door closer models also allow adjusting the back check. Connect the cylinder to the door bracket and attach the door bracket to the door. The ez closer should sit on the back edge of the door.

Door closer bc or back check means how the door responds when fully opened the amount of resistance when opening the door past a certain point. Attach the jamb bracket first then the door closer rod. This function is only available for non sized closers. Using a 1 inch spade bit bore a hole to the depth of 3 75 inches the length of the ez closer cylinder. Spring power adjustmant adjust the door closing speed there are 2 valves to control the door closing of sweep speed and latch speed separately. Firmly push the ez closer into the drilled hole and secure with the two screws provided screws must be counter sunk.

Please use tapping screws for metal door. Some include doorknobs and others are deadbolt type latches. Move the pin from the summer and winter positions to change the door from screen to storm function. Insert the latch and tighten it with screws.
